Install

  1. In WordPress Admin, open Plugins > Add New and search for TaxAutomator.
  2. Install the WordPress.org directory plugin or upload arksoft-tax-rate-lookup-woocommerce.zip.
  3. Open Settings > TaxAutomator and confirm the managed service endpoint.
  4. Use Test Connection with a sample ZIP or Canadian postal code.

Verify

  • Dashboard metadata includes archive size and SHA-256 checksum.
  • The ZIP contains the plugin PHP file, uninstall handler, WordPress readme, and install README.
  • Saved API keys stay write-only in WordPress settings.
  • Failed API calls are written to the WooCommerce logger without exposing keys.
